As SDET at Hedia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development as well as a solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies. It is also important that you bring experience and know how to navigate in the mobile environment.

Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer in Test at Hedia (mobile team), you will be responsible for:

  2. Improving the overall testing strategy and implementing effective test automation techniques.
  3. Managing Jira tests and their linkage to automatic tests to ensure comprehensive coverage and traceability.
  4. Testing the product on various phones and screen sizes to ensure optimal user experience as well as testing third-party integrations.
  5. Conducting thorough testing of new functionality and identifying bugs early in the development cycle.
  6. Maintaining different Android/iOS versions on physical devices, including various makes and models.
  7. Performing ‘monkey testing’ during internal builds to uncover potential issues and edge cases.
  8. Maintaining and performing manual tests that cannot be automated or require human interaction.
  9. Enhancing and maintaining the CI pipeline to enable efficient integration and testing.
  10. Documenting software validation processes and contributing to technical documentation.
  11. Participating in the risk management process and validation of risk control measures.
  12. Investigating and diagnosing bugs reported by users or detected through monitoring tools.
  13. Conducting regression testing during software updates.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software, enabling individuals with diabetes to effectively manage their condition and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of software development life cycle and the mobile environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar languages. Experience with React or React Native will be taken as an advantage.
