Position Overview

Grow with us. The world is beautiful and we want to keep it that way. 1 Hotel Copenhagen is looking for a Front Desk Clerk who will be the face of the hotel, welcoming guests, managing check‑in/check‑out, and supporting front‑office operations with professionalism, warmth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front‑line representative of the hotel, greeting guests and ensuring a smooth check‑in/check‑out process.
  • Provide professional and friendly service to guests at all times.
  • Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address guest concerns proactively and find guest‑focused solutions.
  • Manage cash and card transactions and maintain accurate bookings, guest records, billing and room assignments.
  • Stay calm and composed in high‑pressure situations, including emergencies and peak activity.
  • Deliver personalized service and add thoughtful touches to enhance the guest experience.
  • Contribute to sustainable hospitality values and eco‑conscious initiatives.
  • Provide 24‑hour operational support as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in front office, guest services, or a similar hospitality role.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel is a great asset.
  • Familiarity with check‑in/check‑out procedures, reservation systems and cash/card transactions.
  • Comfortable using standard office equipment and hotel management software.
  • Strong organizational, detail‑oriented and accurate in billing and room assignments.
  • Calm, composed, proactive, collaborative and team‑oriented.
  • Flexible and able to work in a 24‑hour operation.
