Your role
As a Software Engineer at DIS/CREADIS, you will work in a consultancy environment across different customers, industries, and technical challenges. Many of the projects involve software that interacts with hardware systems, industrial equipment, or complex engineering platforms.
Many of our client engagements run over several years, allowing you to take real ownership of solutions, contribute to long‑term development, and see your work evolve in real production environments.
You will:
- Design and develop software solutions with Java as a core technology
- Develop backend systems, APIs, integrations, and scalable application components
- Contribute throughout the development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical decisions, and code reviews
- Work with modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and version control
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams when software interacts with hardware or complex systems
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
This role is well suited for someone who enjoys technical depth, responsibility, and the variety that comes with consultancy work.
What we’re looking for

You bring
- Strong experience with Java
- Experience with additional languages such as C#, Python, C++, or similar
- Familiarity with development tools and practices such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development environments
- Understanding of software architecture principles and maintainable code design
- Interest in working in complex technical environments and learning new domains
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with customers or stakeholders
- A structured and proactive approach with the ability to adapt to different project environments
